Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bloom. By using the site or submitting information, you represent that you are legally able to agree to these terms and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

Bloom is currently a waitlist and early-access dating and matchmaking service. We may collect profile information, review submissions, contact prospective members, and curate potential introductions.

Joining the waitlist or submitting a profile does not guarantee acceptance, access, a match, a date, a relationship, or any particular outcome. Bloom may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

You are responsible for the information, answers, links, handles, and other content you submit to Bloom. You agree not to submit information that is false, misleading, unlawful, invasive of another person's privacy, infringing, harassing, abusive, or otherwise harmful.

You give Bloom permission to use the information and content you submit to operate, evaluate, improve, and provide the service, including for onboarding, matching, introductions, support, safety, and related communications.

You agree not to misuse Bloom, attempt to access systems without permission, interfere with the site, scrape or copy the service, impersonate another person, pressure or harass other users, or use Bloom for commercial solicitation, spam, scams, or unlawful activity.

If Bloom introduces you to another person, you are responsible for your own communications, decisions, meetings, and safety. Use good judgment, meet in public places when appropriate, and report concerning behavior to us.

By submitting your email address or phone number, you agree that Bloom may contact you about your waitlist status, onboarding, profile, potential introductions, service updates, and related matters. You can ask us to stop sending non-essential communications.

Bloom may offer paid memberships, premium matching, concierge-style support, or other paid features in the future. Any prices, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation rights, and refund rules will be provided before you purchase.

Bloom and its site, branding, design, text, software, and other materials are owned by Bloom or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you ownership of Bloom or permission to use our branding except as necessary to use the service.

Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using Bloom, you also agree to our privacy policy.

Bloom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not conduct comprehensive background checks unless we expressly say otherwise. We do not guarantee the identity, intentions, compatibility, availability, or conduct of any person you may meet through Bloom.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bloom and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, emotional distress, or other damages arising from your use of or inability to use Bloom.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bloom's total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Bloom for the service giving rise to the claim or USD $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Bloom harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your submitted content, your use of Bloom, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users as required by law. We may suspend or terminate access to Bloom if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, or misused the service.

If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. The laws and venue that apply to any dispute may depend on where Bloom is operated and where you are located. If Bloom later forms or appoints a legal operating entity, we may update these terms with more specific dispute, governing law, and venue provisions.
